Tigers with some minor-league promotions today, none surprising, beginning with Brett Callahan and John Peck moving from Double A Erie to Toledo. Hayden Minton, a solid RH starter, goes to Erie, as does power-hitting first baseman Garrett Pennington (14 HRs), who is 25 and who was undrafted when the Tigers signed him out of N.C. State by way of Wichita State. Pennington will add a few bombs at that more inviting Erie ballpark.
