Harbaugh in Rudock

He went to New Trier ...4-pointed Michigan undergrad with degree in History and then off to Harvard Law where he graduated near top of class ...back to Chicago and Kellogg.

Ironically grew up a Cubs fan.

Assuming he's made enough money as a MLB Exec to pay off school.

Hmm... yes, probably, if yahoo answers is accurate.

The trashy guys that sat behind us literally ripped Rudock all game. They were idiots. They complained about everything from start to finish. At one point one of the two guys asked, "So is this the largest stadium in college" and the other guy (who thought he was Nick Saban 2.0) said, "yeah, it's the only one over 100,000". I also heard them complain because Smith came in on a 4th down and that was dumb to put the starting RB out there because the defense would "key in" on him. And when they stopped it, they were like, "I told you so. What a stupid call". It was maddening to listen to.

Any whoo -- it is just ridiculous that people don't remember last year and our QB options last year. It's clear Shane did not progress much and Rudock is able to manage a pretty productive offense. Gardner and Morris last year couldn't even complete little screen passes without throwing it in the dirt. I, for one, think Rudock is a breath of fresh air. So he can't complete the deep ball, who cares. People need to get their expectations in check. Our true freshman QB recruits were not going to come in and be game ready -- that's an extremely rare quality.

The only stadium over 100,000? OSU goes over 100,000. Tennessee, Bama, and LSU are all over 100,000 without a doubt. Do they always go over 100,000? I don't know, but I know they have the capacity. Penn state, too, I believe. Maybe Texas?

Idiots. That's why I prefer being alone during games.

folks in my area actually cool

I've sat in a bunch of different sections over the last couple years and it seems like some really do have a "local scene" that is better than others.

my friend had longtime tickets in sec. 43 (i think about row 35 or so) and since college i've been to more games in that section than any other. unfortunately the two guys with the seats next to us always sucked.

after having the Polish sausage with grilled onions, sauerkraut and dijon mustard at US Cellular Field, I became a bigger fan of going to ballgames... at least there. best sports concessions I've ever had.

Well yeah. You go to ballgames to hang out with friends and drink absurdly expensive beer and eat absurdly expensive food. You DON'T go there to watch the game. That's kinda my point.

True!

Unlike the guy behind me letting his small child kick me in the back constantly....or the guys in front of me who also liked to blather on about how they could coach better.

It was great meeting you!!

same here Jess

when i was first here, I was in like 42 - they were boring folks, and one couple talked about Harvard/Yale football
