Get Started@chengelis: Harbaugh says "Jake Rudock is the best quarterback....not by a small margin.......I hope that's clear."
From today's presser
The trashy guys that sat behind us literally ripped Rudock all game. They were idiots. They complained about everything from start to finish. At one point one of the two guys asked, "So is this the largest stadium in college" and the other guy (who thought he was Nick Saban 2.0) said, "yeah, it's the only one over 100,000". I also heard them complain because Smith came in on a 4th down and that was dumb to put the starting RB out there because the defense would "key in" on him. And when they stopped it, they were like, "I told you so. What a stupid call". It was maddening to listen to.
...
"Those fans" are the worst part of the Gameday experience for me. They're even worse than opposing fans that heckle & don't shut up.
One of the main differences in enjoyment this year is not having to question the coaching capabilities of this staff. If Harbaugh says Rudock is the best QB or if Harbaugh starts a kid -- that means he's the best player at that spot. Its' amazing that people still exist who will sit there and question every decision a coach like Harbaugh makes, like somehow they know more than him.
True, but even if the coach sucks, why sit there and blather about the game, like a complete jackass? Attendance is completely voluntary... if you are that unhappy with the team, program, etc. don't go.
and just to be clear, I'm not talking about booing Hoke last year; that kind of stuff is perfectly acceptable from fans. It's just the idiots that sit there and loudly critique every play call, player, the Program, roster decisions, substitutions, etc.
I went to two games when RR was coach, and I had a good time being there & at least cheered for the team and didn't sit there and bitch about how bad of a coach he was. That's what internet message boards with the "ignore" function are for.
Agreed. It ruined last Saturday's game for me because they said stupid things through like 95% of the game. They were calling for Harbaugh to put Malzone in after ever incomplete pass. It was like -- Jesus guys, he's not going to make a roster switch every time an incompletion happens.
And I just remember something else they said that was just facepalm stupid. They kept complaining about how much time the defense had been out on the field because the offense wasn't as good as they wanted....and they were saying things like, "When the defense is out there 90% of the game you're not going to be able to hold them off forever". And I wanted to turn around and be like -- asshats, they put time of possession on the damn scoreboard and you can clearly see by the almost split TOP that the defense has been out on the field almost the identical amount of time to the offense.
I'm just hoping it was a one time thing and they don't have, or know someone, with those tickets so they can come back.
I think just about everyone has had that kind of experience. I can't decide if that's worse than the 3+ chicks at a baseball game that have exactly 0 interest in watching a baseball game (no offense to the ladies on here, just see this much more often with women than men). My experience at the Big House was actually people that badly wanted to know shit about the team, but had absolutely no clue. Finally I had to turn around and settle an argument about Braylon's last season because one guy was trying to suggest Henne was "Only good because he had Braylon most of his career".
Of course, people in general get on my nerves, so I may be more annoyed by this stuff than I rightfully should be. It's just difficult to have any faith in humanity when you hear a stat on the news that says there have been more selfie-related deaths (8) than fatal shark attacks (5) this year.

Every time I go to a baseball game I have exactly 0 interest. What a boring sport.![]()
HAHAHAHAHA .... I just saw that on Twitter this morning and re-posted it to my FB account. My wife has a friend who is a selfie nutjob and a few months ago I had to re-install my iPad off our shared MacBook ....I ended up with 427 selfies of this friend of hers and started making fun of how narcissistic and stupid selfies are and how people should just take a picture of the event or place and look at it later ...that nobody wants to see a blurry, extra-zoomed picture of someone's fat face with some background concert or monument or event.
after having the Polish sausage with grilled onions, sauerkraut and dijon mustard at US Cellular Field, I became a bigger fan of going to ballgames... at least there. best sports concessions I've ever had.
The GM is a MICHIGAN Alum, that's why ....Top Notch Danny, Top Notch!!!

holy smokes: "Hahn is a graduate of the University of Michigan, Harvard Law School and Kellogg Graduate School of Management (Northwestern University)."
...and he'll be paying off those student loans til the day he dies. Unless he's a 1%er.
