Lions 2019 Draft

https://www.detroitlionspodcast.com...t-lions-podcast-draft-talk-groundhog-gabriel/
Detroit Lions Podcast Episode 198 ? Lions Draft Talk & Groundhog Gabriel. 66 minutes.

In this episode of The Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Case come back after a week-long break to give you your favorite Detroit Lions content. We kick off with some talk about the Draft, and let you know where our minds are in regards to the number eight pick for the Lions. We also discuss the Season Ticket Member Summit and the news that came out of that. From there we touch on a few different topics, but the most important takeaway for anyone who listens is Groundhog Gabriel. Know it, live it, love it.

Detroit Lions Podcast Listener Survey 2019
Things start off with us asking a favor of our listeners. Maybe not the standard way of kicking a show off, but we are as non-standard as they come. We make a quick ask of our listeners to go to http://DetroitLionsPodcast.com/2019-listener-survey and complete a quick 3 minute survey about the show. This survey will help us to ensure the show is the very best it can be for you, and a great way to give us feedback and be heard. We don?t ask for any personal information, we have no way of contacting you, bothering you, or selling your info. We just want your input so we can be sure that we are hitting all of the marks in bringing you the best Detroit Lions Podcast possible.

That was like a minute of the show ? definitely took longer to read/type than talk about ? after that, its football time. We dive straight into the draft talk. This show we take a look at the Tight End position. We discuss who the top tier candidates are and where we might want to take them. What?s the risk of a tight End at 8th overall, and are there any reasons it could make sense? We then talk about the ?safe? or likely pick for the Detroit Lions in the first round. After that, Chris talks about another interesting candidate that may be more of a high risk/high reward type of grab.

Season Ticket Member Summit
Next we discuss the Season ticket Member Summit on the Detroit Lions Podcast. We start by discussing Bob Quinn saying he?s willing to take a Quarterback in the draft. It was something that drew a lot of discussion and fire from dissenters. Definitely worth discussing. Also, Tim Twentyman had a great article on DetroitLions.com in which he shares 10 takeaways from Darrell Bevell, Paul Pasqualoni, and John Bonamego. It?s a great article that lends itself to some discussion and we share our reactions to his points. As a result of one of the points made, Chris decides that Da?Shawn Hand, Damon ?Snacks? Harrison, and A?Shawn Robinson need to be named DaDA ? because they can stand across any offensive line and ask, ?Who?s your DaDA??

From there we take on a number of shorter, ?Quick Hit?, types of topics. One of which deserves to be seared in your memory. You need to listen to this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast and commit ?Groundhog Gabriel? to your memory. Hell, make it a hashtag, #Groundhog Gabriel. Someone just saw their shadow.
