Michigan @ Minnesota

Two 4 points plays killed us. Missed free throws by walton too. Again the the other team is getting freshmen production in points, and we are not which is frustrating to me. Too many offensive rebounds by the other team too.

What a shot to tie it! Minnesota lucky as **** they didn't call an offensive foul at the end (yeah right).

**edit** On second look, closer to a blocking call.

Could have been a charge maybe or a block the way these refs are calling fouls.

**** zak damn it not that shot. So may wasted possessions in ot by us.

Has Rick Pitino never been to one of his son's games? Camera loves him.

Free throws killing us. Irvin not helping.

We have been awful in ot. Terrible offense and just awful leadership from zak as a senior.. walton other then his free throws played decent but him and Maar are combined 2 for 8 shooting free throws, and we are freaking.
And 9 for 18 for the game.

Missed a great opportunity for another road win. Can't let this become a losing streak.

Another loss by a team that would be winning this game if the were just a tougher team that can rebound.

Michigan 9 for 18.
Minnesota was 28 for 41 .. 41 free throws lol...

The team played hard I'll give them credit. They had chances to win, but ultimately too many weaknesses got exposed.

1) Lack of rebounding AGAIN, and giving up second chance points. Don't know the final numbers on that stat but it was a lot to a little I'm sure.

2) Lack of depth. Minnesota's bench outplayed ours badly. In fact the entire Gophers team played a very nice well balanced game. Lots of guys contributed for them. Not one bench guy contributed much for us.

3) Free Throws and the inability to draw them consistently. We can bitch about the refs, and yeah I didn't think they were great, but Minnesota made a much more concentrated effort to get to the line. 41 attempts to only 18 is unacceptable. That's not all on the refs, that's on philosophy and style of play.

Rutgers is a must win.
