Michigan wins!! (postgame discussion)

I have a feeling Michigan will be seeing Wiscy again later this season.

Wolverines are vastly improved but let's not

I just realized that I didn't hear Rashan Gary's name. Not once. I don't even remember seeing him.

He played well. Would have had a fumble recovery if the UW OL didn't luckily kick the ball away after the fumbled snap.

He was in on some tackles

Stribling!! Thought he had a pick 6 there, but got tackled.

Yes, Wisconsin has a great defense, but Speight's decision making looked awful at times. Guys wide open, but he throws into triple coverage instead.

Allen with some good punts

How about that Levy prick in the booth? Dude had a hard-on for UW. He was even saying one time about where UW would be ranked when they win. I bet he is so disappointed now.

What happened to Kenny Allen? That dude was captain reliable last season, he can't make shit.

everybody played well except Kenny Allen, in my opinion.

Defense was solid all around.

Speight made a couple errors, but that go ahead TD was more than adequate redemption... great throw. Wisconsin's defense made him look worse than he is.

and yeah, Rashan Gary was in there... heard his name a couple times. Everyone else on the DL had bigger games though.

Yeah, they don't have an easy schedule ahead. Still have to play Nebraska and at Iowa, but I think they are probably the top team in the West.

I admire the confidence you appear to have with respect to The Game. No matter what, I've never had that kind of confidence.

Very little use of tight ends too

Gary's name was called a few times

Offense needs to step up

Ah, you were referring to Michigan? Yes, Michigan needs to get ready for Rutgers next week. One game at a time. GO BLUE!

Do you like the sense of team and sportsmanship- last week when they all went to Clark on the cart, I had never seen that before and again yesterday with Newsme

When Wiscy player went down late, saw Taco spending a few seconds with him

Liked seeing both teams shaking hands, or "hugging" each other at end

Yes his best punts were those times when that one guy was holding the ball for him on the punt attempt.

He managed to kick those punts completely through the end zone and miss coming anywhere near the Endzone uprights, thereby disallowing any Badger to catch a rebound off of the upright and return it for a touchdown.

Yes, I agree. Seems like a real brotherhood. Haven't seen this type of thing since the 1997 season. I remember we had a few injuries then that the team rallied behind.

That Jim Harbaugh is so clever, eh? I never knew that you could legally have another player hold the ball during a punt. Brilliant! I guess this was a response to the punt last year that shall not be mentioned. Those plays, the play where Morris came in for one play to run around the end and out of bounds after 4-5 yards, and the "train" play. All very clever! And tricky, very tricky.

the key is not to get too greedy. everybody thinks a trick play needs to go for a TD every time, but really it's better to just get a couple yards or maybe a first down.

Well yes, one game at a time is a healthy way to get through the season, your feeling about Wisconsin notwithstanding.

Good luck against the Scarlet Knights and in the game after that and the game after that and so on and so forth. I'm hoping for a clash of top 4 teams in November.

I honestly would not be surprised if we don't see a 2006 rematch.

Regardless, awesome for me I just scheduled 11 days of vacation around thanksgiving so I'll be watching no questions asked.

Michigan has to make leaps and bounds on offense to even hang with osu let alone beat them. It isn't like our defense is going to pitch a shutout in Columbus. They will hang some points on us.
