Get StartedEh... appropo of nothing other than ND hypocrisy... I'll share my trainwreck ND colleague stories. she had a lot of shit happen to her, but seemed to always return bad vibes in kind to someone else... you could see the bad karma at work.
things Miss ND did to amuse (and sometimes horrify) me:
- indirectly found a way to mention how great ND was on numerous occasions (but she went to a 4th tier toilet law school)
- got dumped by her ambulance chaser live-in boyfriend, and for the next two years was hitting the bottle and the internet dating sites pretty hard.
- could tell when she had a "date night" because she'd come in late the next day, obviously hung over, while claiming to be sick with something you wouldnt come to work with (severe migraines, the flu, bronchitis, etc)
- called a male coworker "sketchy" because he didn't wear his wedding ring, despite the fact that she herself was chasing after our dooshy IP attorney, and not being discrete about it (he was married with kids... but since he wore his ring, I guess this was okay?)
- went insane with rage over some pretty mild criticism from a senior attorney, and proceeded to say nasty things about his personality, weight, haircut, etc to other people, including his own subordinates
- during a presentation from HR, learned the company might possibly have information about employees' prescription medication history and had a panic attack about it, leading everyone to wonder just WTF kinda meds she was on.
- got sexually harassed by dumbass drunk republican attorney (who was himself fired for general incompetence later). the harassment was not her fault... but she did wear unusually tight fitting tops, which made her rather... obvious... in our otherwise conservative department meetings. on a few occasions he showed up to work clearly hammered, and using a pretense would come talk to her about work and just stare at her chest. I think these two were made for eachother actually.*
- saw one of our outside attorneys at a conference. while she did not know him personally she proceeded to drunkenly accost him, and accuse him of ****ing up a bunch of work he did, then had to call him and apologize
- oh and she considered the Manti Teo thing to be something that could happen anywhere, not par for the course for ND.
*one day he showed up to work missing a front tooth.
