Here's a live stream of the game (I know it's a little late)...but there's 12 minutes left in the second half if anyone wants to watch:

Michigan looks great, and without Burke. They're hitting 3's with ease - all the freshman look good and damn...we finally have a presence in the middle. It's great to see.

Right now winning 62-31.

I prefer the Mgoblue gamecast, with the little chess pieces and the ball bouncing around the rim 900 times before it falls in/out.

lol, I hate all gamecasts. I'd rather listen to the audio than watch one of those things. Especially with Hockey and Basketball....it just looks spastic.

The green piece just put the ball in the air, and the yellow piece (McGary) sent it flying back to half court. Must have been a hell of a block.

If I was to take ANYTHING from this exhibition, is that it looks like Spike can potentially handle his own at the PG, and might be a decent option from outside the arch.

freshnen look good

yes it us exhibition game but you see some nice movement

I hope Spike can be a good back up pg. You could tell at the end of last year Trey was tired. We need to cut down on his minutes so he will be more effective late in games and the season.

that is the plan

there was a 7 minute video on mgoblue last week where JB said something about treyplaying so many mnutes and getting him relief

Yeah, Spike looked a half step slow sometimes, even against this competition, but backup pg definitely won't be a disaster. Everything the coaches have been saying about him is true.

But man, they showed just about everything I/we wanted to see. Spike started it off with a 3, when Stauskus came in he immediately hit two 3's, Robinson had a quiet 9 in the first half then opened the second with a breakaway one hander then an alley oop, Hardaway had a very good all around game, McGary had a couple nice stretches with two consecutive offensive boards then an emphatic yell after he put it back and got fouled, pumping up the team, Morgan put in some work down low later on in the game, Levert looks smooth as advertised.

We left with 8 to go and I haven't seen the box score yet, but damn, so much for going away from the 3! I know, we shouldn't take too much away from an exhibition - as beez reminded me, we were pumped when Vogrich hit five 3's in his first exhibition game his freshman year - but the shooters, especially Stauskus, look like they have all the confidence in the world going up. That wasn't always the case the last couple years, even against poor competition.

how did DeShawn Sims look? is Manny Harris going to be able to carry us all season?

Hardaway did actually remind me of (good) Manny with his all around game last night. He looked more like a leader out there than he has in the past. Which makes sense of course, given his age..

that's good.

I guess it's gotta be someone.

since I've never even seen the other upper class guys speak, it's on Timmy.

I didn't really expect Morgan, Eso Akunne, or Josh Bartelstein to step up.

Bartelstein is the captain, fwiw.

Morgan shows some fire from time to time. But yeah, it's pretty much Burke and Hardaway's show.
