Might as well have a thread for them.

Syracuse just went down to Miami. This should knock them out of the tourney and that is awesome. :spin:

They'll still get in, IMO. That name carries a ton of weight and 10-8 in the ACC is hard to overlook. Almost the mirror image of MSU.

It's very rare for a 14 loss team to get in. Especially one with a terrible road record and some really bad losses (BC, UConn, St. John's, Pitt, and G'town). They definitely do not deserve to get in.

Deserve and getting in are two very separate concepts for our good friends from the committee.

I don't think MSU deserves to get in either because they have basically one good win (Wisconsin), but they are seemingly well-clear of the bubble line.

Minnesota(twice) and Wichita State(neutral) are also good wins.

Minnesota is aight. Wichita is a nice win, yes.

I think MSU is getting a bid a lot on their name and not what they've actually done on the court. But, that's the way it goes sometimes.

Northwestern and Michigan too. We lose though first game and we should be out.

Also, can someone please explain why vanderbilt is even being considered as a bubble team? They are going to finish with 15 losses by the time the SEC tourney ends. They went 10-8 in a mediocre conference and have lost to bucknell, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, ole miss and bum ass Missouri. If they get in I will lose my mind

Also, they scheduled a bunch of bums in the nonconference as usual. Can't stand boeheim and his inflated wins thanks to the typical D2 cupcake schedule

I think a lot of the middle of the pack power teams are just getting a huge benefit because no mid-majors have really stepped up their game.

Can't stand Boeheim either and that is putting it very mildly.

18-14 and espn are saying Syracuse is in wtf is that ?
A ACC lovefest party ?

It would be very wise for MSU to avoid a loss today. Teams like Kansas State, USC, Xavier, Cal, and a few others are still alive. If any of those guys continue to march, they'll pluck some bids.

Hopefully they lose then.

Syra-ex-cuse is 2-11 outside of the Orange Dome or whatever it's called.

Kansas postseason Kansased all over themselves today. Lost their first conference tourney game to TCU.
