Montreal will win the trade long term with Suzuki alone, short term Vegas improves as Tatar is very 1-dimensional player who struggled breaking into the Vegas roster.

Probably more of a cap move as Schmaltz is up at the end of the season. Likely to get a 4-5.5 per annum deal. Guess they are hoping they can develop Strome into someone equivalent to Schmaltz with a potentially lower hit.

Chicaco-Arizona really doing a lot of trades seems this is their 3rd or 4th in past year.

Wonder what is happening with Berlund.


The team suspended him during the past week and now they are reportedly moving to terminate his contract.


He still has about 10 million for next 2 seasons and around 2,5 mil left for the remainder of this year.


That is a lot of money to be pissing away.
