so who are 4 teams with a better resume than Michigan and why?

I don't know why. It's just a feeling. But Colorado is going to take care of business. I don't trust Washington.

I hope those really good dbs at CU perform like they did against us. May they be blessed with multiple int's and fumble recoveries.

I have personal reasons why I'd like to see CU succeed vs. Washington.

Best friend is a Buffs fan. He and I went to Ann Arbor as opposing fans this year. Friday night, we will be cheering together!

Yes, i listed OSU and Alabama ahead of MIchigan and then i said, "who else?"

Didn't you say:

Alabama...not really...how many wins do they have against the current top 10? but they are undefeated and they are Alabama, so they stay #1

Ohio St? Well, they didn't look much better head 2 head on their home turf for most the day yesterday. Sure, they won, but that game was a coin flip. That being said, i can see why someone would say, "Well, they won the head 2 head game, so they are better." If you are going to say that and use that, then you have to save that for later and use it the exact same way...

based on the thread title, which asked who are 4 teams with a better resume than Michigan, and not actually saying OSU and Alabama actually had better resumes, or were better, I think my response is reasonable.

That's right...

And its funny, but my buddy in A2 (lived in Boulder after undergrad for a few years) just ordered a CU Buffs t-shirt ...Bo & McCartney united on Friday night!

I keep hearing this logic from people that "If the conference games don't matter, why play them?"

Well, okay then... So let's just say Penn State and Wisconsin don't have to play a game. Soo.... They are 6 and 7... They aren't getting in with the way things are currently. By not playing the game, they don't even have a CHANCE to pass Michigan. People keep saying that without actually knowing what comes out of their mouth.

Conference titles are one piece of the pie. It just so happens that the two, maybe three best teams in the entire Big 10 are playing in the same division. That speaks to the need for realignment big time.

You know, Florida and VaTech should really make the playoff if they beat Bama and Clemson.

realignment isn't the answer because different teams can be good in different years. Prior to the season, some MSU fans were saying that the east should be changed because the three best teams were in it (OSU, UM and MSU). See how that turned out.

I checked the espn bowl projections the other day.

they have the current Top 4 in the playoffs, with UW/PennSt going to the Rose Bowl. we're pencilled in for the Cap One Bowl. man would that suck. one dodgy 4th down spot grew in importance to create a giant, gaping canyon between where we should be, and where we likely end up.

I'm keeping the faith though. something tells me this works out okay in the end.

I would think the loser of Wisconsin and Penn State gets the Capital One Bowl. I'd be very disappointed if we got that.

Do you have the link to this? It's vastly different than anything I've seen.
