so who are 4 teams with a better resume than Michigan and why?

I checked the espn bowl projections the other day.

they have the current Top 4 in the playoffs, with UW/PennSt going to the Rose Bowl. we're pencilled in for the Cap One Bowl. man would that suck. one dodgy 4th down spot grew in importance to create a giant, gaping canyon between where we should be, and where we likely end up.

I'm keeping the faith though. something tells me this works out okay in the end.

CBS Sports is showing Michigan in the Orange Bowl.

DRatings - I don't know what it is, but that doesn't mean that much - is showing Rose Bowl.

College Football News - I think I've heard of that - is projecting Orange Bowl.

SB Nation - I've heard of that - has M in Orange Bowl.

College Sports Madness - I don't know it - is showing Orange Bowl.

I can't find the current ESPN projections.

Colorado and Penn State are the ticket.

I still think PSU needs to win the game closely, they won't jump from 7 over Michigan to 4. Don't see it.

Ha!! I'll still be at work until 7pm Mountain Time. ESPN app works wonders during work time. Even though I hate them, I love their ****ing app.

So you're going to be stingy with this time machine? I get it. I probably would be as well.

I fondly remember Michigan's last Orange bowl 17 years ago.

That Orange Bowl was sexy.

Orange Bowl

Who are they predicting for the Beano Gas Bloat Bowl? I can't wait for that game. The 3/4 empty stadium. The pageantry. The tradition.

Why is the Orange Bowl scheduled the day before New Years Eve?

Are they being punished for Lebron James going back to Cleveland?

Orange is going to be a Prime-time game on a Friday night. New Years day is on a Sunday. All of the traditional Jan 1 games are being moved because of the NFL.

Oh.

Also there's an old Pasadena ordinance, that forbids horses out on Colorado Boulevard on Sundays.

I think it was because there a lot of churches on Colorado Blvd., and the Pasadena City Council didn't want to have church goers stepping over or stepping in horseshit.

That goes back to way before the NFL.

I wasn't aware of tha rodinance. I'm sure it's the horse issue then.

my bad

How the **** do we get the Cap One Bowl? We're 5th. We should get Orange or Cotton at worst.

I don't think there is a 5th

Isn't there only a first? 2nd place doesn't automatically go to the loser of the big 10 championship. i think that after first, there isn't some clear set of rules to decide who finishes in what place.

Saw the RB Parade crew setting up the bleachers inn COLO this week.

The Orange Bowl is the Capital One Bowl.

The Citrus Bowl is the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl this last year, like it was last season when Michigan won.

Last season it was on Jan. 1, so it was the 2016 Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl, and this season it's on Dec. 31, so this season is also going to be the 2016 Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl.

The old Copper Bowl in the Phoenix area had been sponsored for some years by Buffalo Wild Wings; it's now the Cactus Bowl and this year it's sponsored by Motel 6.

EDIT: Oh, the Wolverines24 already posted about this.

I meant ranked 5th.

I hate bowl games.
