As expected, Magglio Ordonez and just-recalled Brandon Inge are in the Tigers lineup today against Cleveland left-hander David Huff. As suspected, the lineup critiques are probably going to come in about why Leyland isn

half of tonight's lineup cant hit. screw DD for filling the roster with too many shitty backup players, and screw leyland for using them too much.

please god....bring the wrath of zeus down on that stadium so i dont have to watch this line up!

These guys are insane!!! Sickening!!! It's almost like they think they're 15 games up. This is the biggest series of the year and we field this lineup?

And that OF defense is just brutal.
it could only be worse if raburn was in center tonight.

i like the young trade because it helps us offensively for the rest of the year (because he's better than maggs) for basically nothing, but i really think we should non-tender him after the season and sign someone like david dejesus.

This is why he's a shitty manager, playing magglio because of a 2 for 5? Are you kidding me. Yet he continues to bat BB at 2 when he's a much better hitter at 3. Don't get me going on Inge. He plain sucks.

So what's the strikeout popup total for Inge tonight? I'm going with 4.

IFFFFF you must play Ordonez, then why do you start Young over Boesch?

Because Boesch is a much better baseball player, but Delmon Young had 100 RBIs last year.

i think the real point is that of those 3, boesch and young should start and maggs should enjoy his spot on the bench because he's useless.

But he's 2 for 5 against this guy. Lol.

leyland shouldnt be allowed to look at batter vs pitcher splits. EVER.

And theyre saying both those hits came with his eyes closed.

I just do not understand this lineup....You have to be kidding me using that small of sample sizes and i guess Jackson will have to get to most fly balls tonight... Lets pray it works...

other than Inge at third,I can live with it, but wished there was a way to get Boeschs bat in there also.

how often do the managers of the yankees, phillies, redsox, rangers, iow, strong first place teams use one day a week to rest players, and use the bench players as starters as often as Leyland does?
along with a seeming indifference to team and player defense?
blame, part Leyland, and part DD.
having pitchers who rely on ground ball, contact, better defense is important.
