I?m Not Doing 2021 Countdown - Wake Me Up When September Ends - 2020 Countdown

Nice work on another successful countdown to kickoff, fellas. Solid work.

We are the LEADERS AND BEST, and it shows.

Thanks.

In our own little corner of the cyber-verse, this might be the most significant of these, going back to whenever the first one was - which had been started by whomever, however long before I stumbled onto the ESPN Michigan board, now around 15 years ago.

I just don?t have the enthusiasm.

Someone else can start one, or pick up and do it on this one, or we can just not have it this year.

Last year was a little soul crushing.

kickoff countdowns are looked at as a little gauche nowadays.

But just a few years ago they were all the rage.

I have no expectation of a good season. I'm assuming it'll be about a 7-5 or 6-6 season. Still, it will be nice to see the maize and blue play again on Saturdays.

i hear you on the enthusiasm - there's nobody left on the MSU board to poke fun at our friendly rivals for their countdown. Yet another tradition dies on the vine.

Byco is keeping it alive.

Since he?s willing I?ll help.

If this keeps up for a few more days, I may have to muster the energy and creative juices to write a post on the MSU board no one will read.

Once this thing has gotten started it?s always gotten finished.

I like that we?re recycling last year?s; kind of auspicious given the un-completeness of the most recent season that was.
