2022 Mid Terms

I agree. "What's the rush?" is basically what I was saying the in the post you quoted. Pay attention to what's actually going on and let the process play out. When you dig into the actual details instead of reading headlines, you see the "dissidents" aren't asking for what we're being told they're asking for. What they're actually asking for would benefit all Americans, not themselves, not just their constituents or even just their party.

So they're actually doing what they were elected to do but again, to low information automatons, they're bigoted, anti-democracy America haters as opposed to the people who are constantly telling you America and all of its institutions are racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic and they need to be torn down and rebuilt in a socialist, utopian manner that guarantees equality of outcome - those people are the real Americans. It's like my good friend used to say when I would wonder how something so bizarre could happen, "Spartanmack, humans beings are so fucking stupid."

Yeah, I pointed out back in #424 that our friend Johnny consistently leaves homophobic and transphobic off the list of evils of both the extreme Republicans and the extremer extreme Republicans.

What?s up with that?

This is the problem. Some of the 20 have these meetings with McCarthy and want all this stuff. More and more each day and then they continue to say I'll never vote for him. Then why have conferences with him you stupid people.

On a side note did anyone hear that Biden speech, lol.

Personally, from what I can see from this clearly unbiased source, McCarthy is the only person giving an honest effort in that room.

clown show starting to come to end now. No I didn't hear what Buck said, I typically mute the TV when I see him come on.

Sounds like 11 Republicans are going to flip toward McCarthy.

Maybe our friend SpartanMack is right, maybe the concessions that they wanted all along have been ideological, and those are the concessions that are being made.

You do love you some hyperbole, don?t you?

It doesn?t work - you push it too far.

My friend MichChamp is by far the best/funniest liberal on this board when it comes to hyperbole.

He just walks right up to the line and just drops it.

Yeah, I don't know if I'm a liberal... I just don't really belong anywhere anymore.

I mean, he says Trump murdered a cop like that's a bad thing... I've been saying to my liberal friends, "WTF is wrong with you all? cops didn't stop being rotten on January 6th" (lostleader is the only exception I make).

They should include Nancy as well for not approving trumps request for more security.

...

So what are they actually getting? Or is that too "inside baseball" for you? I posted above that MTG (supposedly) extracted promises of being appointed to committees in exchange for her vote.

I mean, she says and does a lot of batshit things, but if she actually pushes to curtail aid to Ukraine & force peace negotiations with Russia... that's good. And if she actually investigates Hunter/Joe Brandon's ties to Burisma... great.

I saw a blurb today that as part of the concessions, McCarthy is agreeing to cut $75 BILLION from the insane Pentagon budget they passed most recently. Fucking fantastic, if true. I mean, I 100% unironically support that... assuming it actually happens.

The legal COD was "natural causes", not murder, J2X2X. Tragic to be sure. Is Trump liable? That's up to the UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA (caps theirs). The language of the suit, however, is as histrionic as your string of recent posts.

(Actually, I think that you have muted me, since that mega-dose of the global agenda that short-circuited your brain)

Not sure what they're getting, that remains to be seen and I'm not following the minute-by-minute updates - I'm relying on Johnny for those given his track record of always getting everything right, especially when it comes to MSU football and basketball recruiting. Hard to find a more credible source than him on that and politics anywhere. but it seems pretty clear what they've been asking for isn't what we've been told and you and others have regurgitated on this board in your earlier posts. Looks like Johnny's streak of nailing it could end with this one (like it did with every other one).

I know what you posted about MTG, and I responded to it because it's nothing at all like what MTG said herself. But MTG isn't one of the holdouts, she claims she gave McCarthy her vote with no quid pro quo requests for herself. I'll try to find the video later when I'm home.

anyone can sue anyone else for anything. I could sue you for trauma caused by you reposting 1,000 of moronic and false news stories from CNN, MSNBC and your MSU recruiting insiders. In that case, most juries would probably agree with me regarding the facts, but it's doubtful they'd reward any damages for it.

Okay.

You?re nothing if not consistently unpredictable.

Yeah, I don?t know if it would be worth convening a jury for.

Agreed. And I?m not a litigious person anyway. I was only trying to give an easy to understand example to make my point. Also, I don?t think it would stop him from paying for premium recruiting content then coming to DSF taking about recruits we?re never going to land and overhyping 3 star d-backs that couldn?t cover a twin sized mattress with a king sized comforter even if the suit were successful.

I'll start out by saying that we're the ones who are supposed to be running things, not them. And we're not. In fact, they aren't even running things. That's the problem. More to come later when I'm sitting in front of an actual keyboard.

MORE: It's not anti-American to express dissent. And these 20 legislators are following procedure as written. Having read the terms of this "Freedom Caucus" they seem rather benign. Procure a budget? Eliminate earmarks? End "Secret Deals Behind Closed Doors?" so that bills are actually read and debated rather than passed with same-day "efficiency"? Identify what laws are being changed by new legislation? Enact a 120-hour buffer for legislation to be reviewed before it goes to the floor for a vote, with a contingency of a 2/3 vote by the house to waive the rule? Revert to the House Rules of that ancient year of ... 2019?

Hardly the efforts of "scumbags." Maybe we should be considering why the opposition on both sides of the so-called aisle is so fierce and forceful. I can speculate; it minimizes their power and influence and compromises their state of obligation to those who actually are in charge, of which I have already mentioned. Seems to me that these 20 are trying to actually restore our republic rather than raze it, and the elephants and donkeys in the room are trumpeting and braying their discontent to surrender their status as privileged puppets of the global cabal you can't or won't acknowledge.

That ?speculation? doesn?t seem so far out there when you learn McCarthy is listed as a member of the World Economic Forum since 2016 and regular attendee or that he spoke on a panel with Klaus Schwab and McConnell?s wife, Elaine Chow heiress to a Chinese billionaire shipping fortune.

Most of Biden's high-ranking staff are members of the Trilateral Commission. Link

As is the case with every administration since 1973. Presidential administrations are infected with these parasites.

EDIT: This is mildly alarming. "Mark Brzezinski, U.S. Ambassador to Poland (brother of broadcaster Mika Brzezinski and son of TC co-founder Zbigniew Brzezinski)

The other co-founder was David Rockefeller: "For more than a century ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents such as my encounter with Castro to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure--one world, if you will. If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it."
