Am I wrong to want Harbaugh gone at this point?

It?s too early in the season for me to concede that we?re a basketball school, anyway.

Not that I won?t be looking forward to basketball, along with hockey and baseball, and softball and I think women?s hoops is getting better, too.

This reminds me of a funny story ? within the last month, I was getting through a yellow light that I had absolutely the legal right to get through, and a Brinks truck was trying to turn left as I was going through, and I actually had to move to avoid the Brinks truck hitting me, and the cocksucker driving the Brinks truck had the audacity to blow his horn at me.

I kind of felt like flipping around and chasing his ass down and bitching him out, but you know, it?s not always a good idea to be seen as having chased a Brinks truck. He did. But he ain?t here for the money - he left NFL money on the table to come to Michigan. He considers Ann Arbor as his home town.

Jim and John grew up on the other side of town from me. John is a grade behind me, Jim is three. Both played little league football on the Jr. Packers; I played on the Jr. Rams.

John graduated from Ann Arbor Pioneer the year after I did. John?s Senior year, sophomore Jim started at QB for Pioneer.

The next year, dad Jack, who had been an assistant coach under Bo, took an assistant job for a school team in the San Jose area.

Jim finished his high school at Palo Alto High, or something, and went to play football at Michigan.

Everybody knows the rest of the story.

Maybe Harbaugh isn?t the right fit at Michigan, I don?t know.

But if he leaves, his first replacement is going to be more like RichRod than Bo Schembechler.

It doesn?t take Sherlock Holmes to figure that out.

Maybe there is no right fit at Michigan for Michigan fans.

Apparently, when they were first starting out, Urban told Shelley that he had three dream jobs.


The three: Ohio State, Notre Dame….and Michigan.

Urban was born in Toledo, Ohio, which is kind of seen as the border for the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry, so it’s not a surprise that he dreamed of coaching the Wolverines at some point.

This has been well known for quite sometime. At the end she said, we'll have to cross off Michigan. At that time, you play to the base. Can't have doubt. He would come because it is once in a lifetime that a coach could possibly win a NC at the 2 biggest rivals in sports. No one has ever done that.
