RAPID FIRE.
Totally Tigers

The Tigers are about to move into the off-season and start to seriously consider their 2021 roster. What are the most important issues they will address? What changes will they make?
Our 2 bloggers will take all of that into consideration as they respond to 5 questions but only have 2 sentences for each one.
As always, Holly and Kurt don?t share their opinions in advance of publishing. So let?s see if they are on the same page.

1. Will the team try to offload more salary for prospects?

2. Will the team spend the same, more or less for payroll?

3. Will the pandemic affect the team?s rebuilding strategy?

4. Will the team re-sign any of last year?s 4 free agents?

5. Which players are in jeopardy of losing their roster spots for 2021?

Today we center the discussion on the Tigers? free agents that were signed for 2020 and the potential for any of them to return for 2021.

Once the World Series concludes, the Hot Stove season begins. The Tigers will be taking a look at their roster to see where the holes are. Last year, they signed 4 free agents with 3 of them getting injured and missing much or most of the season. The fourth, had his production fall off significantly during the second half.

If you could sign only one of the free agents who were Tigers in 2020, who would it be?
1. C. J. Cron
2. Ivan Nova
3. Austin Romine
4. Jonathan Schoop
5. None of them.
6. Not sure.
