The guy seems like a total control freak with major anger issues. Instead of taking the laptop away and offering the daughter a chance to earn it back through good behavior he blows off a few rounds and destroys his own property. Great use of a teaching moment there, buddy. I'm sure your daughter will turn out great with such a solid example to follow.
