Elimination Thread

Updated, magic number down to 9

A Cleveland win today would be nice

Updated after yesterday, magic number down to 7, Tigers could have the division wrapped up as early as this Thursday

Magic number falls to 6

Chicago is now tied with Cleveland...Since Cleveland has played two less games (and thus have one less loss than Chicago), their E# is 6 while the White Sox are at 5.

Go Tigers!!!

Great thing about it is, the Tigers' were the team that was fortunately team that was in a bad division. Now we're a team that is just good.

Updated all the numbers

Detroit doesn't even have to play .500 from here on out to win the central.

They don't even have to win a game and they're win it. No way Clev. And Chi. won't lose at least 6 and 5 games the rest of the way.

Yup, the Indians and White Sox still have 4 more to play against each other. Assuming they split, the magic number is pretty much down to 4, however both will probably be eliminated by that point (that series starts a week from today).

Anyway, Grandy may be working late so...

Magic number is 4 (against Cleveland)....

And the White Sox elimination number drops to 3...

Go Tigers!!!

Nice thing about MLBtv.....Thursday night is a free game (you dont have to be a customer) and the game may be the clincher in Oakland. I knew it wasn't stupid for me to drop it earlier this year. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!

Sure beats Tuesday's free game. I know there was no 2 teams going against each other fighting for a playoff spot but Minny vs KC, lol.

Updated, both Cleveland and Chicago could be eliminated tonight resulting in the Tigers winning the division.

Chicago can only tie if they win out and the Tigers lose the rest
Cleveland can still win the division if they win out and the Tigers lose the rest

Cleveland loses. Magic Number is 1.

1.

Fucking 1.

Magic Number is fucking 1.

Magic number is...1.

Updated

Magic number down to 1

White Sox have been eliminated

Worst case scenario, Tigers and Indians tie
