Game 8: Raiders @ Lions *Monday Night* Thread

This is really a coaches dream. Win the game. Pretty much dominate the game, but you still made a ton of mistakes you get to point out on film. Special teams, offense and defensive mistakes all over the place.

Detroit dominated this game, the only reason it's close is due to the stupid turnovers. As others have said a more indicative score would be 40+ to 7 it's been that one-sided.

Turnovers and strange red zone play calling keep this game close. One really bad call by the refs on that fumble which I am glad didn?t cost us the game.

What do you do when Montgomery is healthy? I feel like Gibbs is one of those guys that needs touches. He's not going to grind 4 yards out every play like montgomery... but he has a chance to break one.

Three turnovers.

Goff had a pick 6
Lions fumble at the 2 yard line. (Questionable call)
Still had closer to 500 yards.

222 yards rushing missing entire interior oline and and motgomery and awoskika got hurt

Lions d absolutely dominated too. Non mobile qbs get killed

Not perfect. Uncharacteristic fumbles by the Reynolds brothers. Terrible pick 6 by Mattred Gofford. Still, complete domination. Adams could have had close to 200 yards with a decent QB?..but most of those throws would have had to be made with someone in his face.

Gibbs was a stud. We had a few very questionable play calls. Goff just missed Kalif on what would have been a 40+ yard catch and run TD.

B game against a bad team.

Campbell?s teams have traditionally REALLY improved in the 2nd half of the season?.so let?s hope this BYE lets us do that!

6-2. Not too bad!!

Go Lions!

Chargers game will be tough. Definitely can't make mistakes and settle for field goals. And Herbert won't miss throws like Jimmy G.

Agreed, hopefully Cam Sutton doesn?t try to jump every route against Keenan Allen. Plus, whoever we pick up tomorrow should help.

In order of who I want

Surtain
Brian Burns
Maxx Crosby
Danielle Hunter
Chase Young
Donte Jackson

Lions had most pressure rate of any team in the last 5 seasons.

Over 71% pressure. 6 sacks. Great mix of wins on the Dline and blitzing. Great job Glenn

And 222 rush yards with all those injuries on Oline and Montgomery

6-2 and bye. Get healthy and bring it against the Chargers. The next big test on the road. All the Lions toughest games on the road this year sans Seattle. And NFC has extra road game this year with 9 vs 8 home

I watched the Chargers on Sunday night. They aren't very impressive.

Imagine all the excuses if 2 of our top WRs and starting TE were injured and goff was playing with a bone sticking out of his finger.
