no rodgers love?

To say that Rodgers is a better player after 3 seasons than a first ballot hall of famer is kind of obnoxious. Yes Rodgers had an amazing season and he has done a lot early in his career but to become an all time great takes consistency. If he continues to play at an elite level then you can argue this point but not after 2 good years and 1 great year.

The Sanders V. Smith argument isnt a good example because they played in the same era over the same time frame. If Barry stays one more year he breaks the rushing record Smith stayed a few extra years and it was hard to watch him play. The most elusive back of all time v. one of the hardest runners.

[quote="Maize&Cheese304":8bz1uby0]Individually Smith had better stats than Barry.

No he didn't. What were Smith's YPC career. Not even close. And no, Favre isn't better because of more career yards. Why do you care that we think Favre is better? [/quote:8bz1uby0]

Ok that's one stat. Compare favres ints and qb rating to Rodgers. And why do you care that I think Rodgers is better

Because you do. Next you're be saying Johnny Unitas or Otto Graham never had a season like Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers had a career year and deserved MVP. Probably won't have a crazy year like that again. His SB year and the year before are better marks for him which are still really good. If Rodgers does 2011 numbers again, the Lions pass rush better bring the A game and the secondary needs even more talent.

So I care, and you don't because you say so? Wow you're so good at arguing Mitch lol

One thing everyone forgets about the Barry Sanders vs. Emmet Smith debate is Smith ran behind the best O-line in football, while Barry ran behind Detroits shitty line.

Swap their places and Sanders is a god, and Smith is just pretty good.
