Tigers 2022 Off Season for FA signings, trades, tender, nontender, Rule 5, to 2023

I was on the "sign a few decent free agent" train early on and was met with mostly disagreement here. I don't know if it would have made a big difference, or even a small difference, but it couldn't have hurt.

Who knows, maybe Scott Harris isn't as smart as he thinks he is.

For those Detroit Tiger fans upset that the team didn't re-sign Michael Fulmer, here are his stats so far for this year: 0 wins, 3 losses. 7.50 ERA. 1.556 WHIP.

Fulmer did not receive a contract offer until spring training had started. He signed a 1-year contract with the Cubs and took a pay cut. Maybe now that Scott Harris is in charge, the Tigers actually used their analytics dept. to determine which pitchers should be retained.

this makes no sense. AA traded Fulmer last season, before Scott Harris was even hired.

FIVE FOR FRIDAY.
Totally Tigers

This year, we?ve had the chance to get to know some newer Tigers better. Spencer Torkelson and Riley Greene to name a few

And with some of these players, we?re starting to see their potential a little better as this team rebuilds.

But what about some of the other players we haven?t seen as often? Players who recently got promoted or are going through their very first year?

There are some intriguing names. Some hints of potential. Some debuts that appear promising.

I?ve got my list. And since this is Friday, we?re sticking to that magical number of ?5.?

So which 5 players am I most curious to watch going forward?
