Tigers vs. A's Game #85, July 5, 2023

10-0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 12-0 gee seen enough of logue 12 runs is a season high for oak!
 
I am so tired of this year after year of futility with this franchise.

The father and son are failures at running this team, the only time they were contending and in the playoffs and world series their Achilles heel was the bullpen.
I think this team is cursed with the old man, because he was dead set on demolishing Tiger Stadium. The Ghosts of Tiger's Greats had no place to rest and for that they are cursed until this f'kstick sells the team.

That's not that crazy. The division is horrible and Toledo has a better lineup than detroit.
 
We were all hopeful because 82-80 My win this division. We all thought they would win this series and now they might get swept. Some even thought they had a chance to sweep the A?s. Getting closer to .500 was a goal.

What?s weird is during the 7 game road trip at Texas and Colorado the team seemed to play with a lot of energy. They come home and come out flat yesterday and lost 1-0. It has carried over to tonight?s game sadly. Team has no energy these last two games at all.
I guess it?s hard to get up for all 162 games but this isn?t a series the tigers should lose at all.

Not sure the tiger hitting coaches shouldn?t be fired. This team is so poor in situational hitting. All we needed was a sac fly in the 8th last night by Spencer and they win.

AJ has to find a way to win yesterdays game and help his young club out. Should have played for the tie in the 10th.
Haase has the speed ro possible even beat out a sacrifice bunt. That is how I would have played it down one.

Spencs was swinging at high pitches to find a sac fly and played right into a strikeout. No patience, to hit you need hitters count to hit well. And Spencer swings at way too many high pitches. OAK IS 19-2 at Detroit in last 21 GAMES. games!!!

Their current lineup has Baddoo, Greene, Colt, Malloy and Meadows. If you think they could put together a better 1-5 with the current tigers your fucking crazy

Baddoo and Greene will be back in Detroit in a few days. The other three are just young guys that probably aren't ready.
 
Tigers are 1016-958 alltime verses Oakland, Kansas City, and Philadelphia A?s since 1901.
They are a terrible 8-32 last 40 games verses the A?s since around 2015.
