Tigers vs. twins Game Thread September 9

You know, everyone when mentioning our playoff chances always prefaces it with the caveat that we're not as good as the Sox or the Yankees, but we could give them a scare. Well, who says we aren't as good? We're just 3 games in back of the Sox if the scores hold up tonight.

Nobody gave em a chance in 06 against the spanks either, perfect position to be in, underdogs all the way, love it.

Demon Young has four home runs in 23 games with the #Tigers. Had 4 in 84 games with the Twins this year.

I like our chances against the Yanks. The Sox can flat out rake and I am less confident about the matchups there. You can be just as good or better than another team, but not match up well.

Tigers 6th inning,

Peralta 2 and 1, fouls it off his foot walk it off Jhonny, high changeup tomahawked on a fly to left,

Betemit broken bat grounder to third,

Santiago grounds out to second,

new pitcher 24 pitches,

Tigers lead 7 - 4.
