Week 10 - Other Games to Discuss

It doesn't look like Georgia is going to give up the 18-point lead any time soon. to #1 Tennessee. On a slightly related note, I don't know why Clemson was #4 and Michigan was #5 in the initial CFP. I just think that's messed up. On another note, I am not really sure what happened with OSU vs Northwestern, but I heard that windy weather was a factor.

I thought TN had the number 1 offense in the country. How many touchdowns have the gotten today?

It was windy for both teams for the OSU-Northwestern game. Doesn't explain the poor rushing game OSU had. And why Clemson is ranked about Michigan is another mystery of the college football playoff system. Unexplainable. And I heard one of the sportscasters saying that if Clemson beats ND and wins the ACC they can't be kept out of the playoffs. What?

In fairness Bama beat UGA like a drum in the SEC championship last year and UGA returned the favor in the Natty. So that's the justification to keep Tennessee in the top 5.

Big ten needs to scrap divisions. The west is just garbage. I would prefer them to go back to the first 2 place teams play for a big ten championship. Idk. How do you fix the west?
I still think usc and ucla will somehow be blocked from joining the big ten.
Any ideas ?

Some really bad coaching by both sides down the stretch. Weird stuff. More so by Illinois though. They so played into Msu strength trying to run the ball up the middle so many times. Beyond dumb. Msu so out played Illinois tonight.

I mean, you already get the de-facto conference championship game the Saturday after Thanksgiving. You would think that 1 of Nebraska/Wisconsin/Iowa would have a pulse most years with the occasional strong showing from Purdue or Illinois. Just a perfect storm of shitty teams happened to converge.

We made MSU better.

It's like when you beat your little brother like a drum, playing one-on-one all weekend, and Monday at recess he shows up and dominates the kids his age.

that is Bielema's style though & they have the #1 RB in the country, right (by rushing yards)?. He thought his team was ready to compete... but they're not. Should've understood that and mixed it up

As much as I enjoy giving my wife shit about Texas I will admit that I am glad Bijan Robinson ended up there rather than sticking with his original commitment to Ohio State. He might be the second best back in the country behind Corum.

Was it gotime that was blowing Cj Stroud last week? Lol. Where?s he at today?

I'm not sure how good Stroud is. He certainly has really good WRs. That said, the winds were 30+ MPH sustained with 50+ MPH gusts. Nobody is going to be able to throw the ball in those winds.

Somebody did say that UM has a team that can travel in any weather conditions. I 100% agree with that assessment. Good run game and good defense can play in any conditions.

...

We here couldn't figure out why Day kept throwing it, when he was like 4-12 and NU was controlling the game

Almost everything going our way today; UGA beats Tenn, and ND destroyed Clemson. except Bama might tie this with LSU and go to OT.

...and as I type that, they do.

SMU beating UH 77-63.

SMU's QB has nine (9) TD passes. UH's has 7. Over 1300 yards of offense.

RichRodriguez must be associated with this game in some way. Maybe coaching both sides' defensive backs

Dude, the only threat to our team is the team that?s on the other side of the ball that day.

Our team controls its own destiny.
