Game 158. tigers verses white sox. Sept 24th.

Soria looked damn good.

That should be good enough to convince Ausmus of who should be the closer.

What a great, exciting game today. Haven't been that fired up during a game in a while. Gotta love September baseball. I know we'd all love to run away with the division but it's so much more satisfying and rewarding when you gotta battle it out to the end. I actually think it better prepares them for the pressure when the playoffs start. How many teams have we seen clinch a couple weeks early then come out flat when the games mean something again?

Here is the shot of Kinsler after his double.....

Yes he looked fantastic and that 68 mph floater was sick!! If he's not closing in October the fans will let Ausmus know how they feel

It's a good game when Miggy and VMart combine to go 0-6 with 5 strikeouts and the TEAM still wins the game!

Verlander really was very good today, maybe if Holladay didn't make such an awful throw to 2nd JV could have pitched a CG SO, who knows.

Monroe

" The only help Victor needs is the bat he is carrying to the batters box with him."

LOL

Add Sale to the whiny bitch list along with Jered Weaver. Lord what a tool.

Butler owns Verlander and you don't see JV accusing him of stupid shit. Some guys are just going to have your number. Deal with it.

With Seattle's loss the Tigers have officially clinched a playoff spot, whether it be winning the AL Central or through the wildcard.
