The Official Hawai'i vs ][V][ichigan Game Thread

Call me selfish, but I'd love to see a running back break a big run and get that score to 70

When I was a kid I went to a couple games when M scored 70.

I think one opponent was Navy.

Within a decade earlier, in 1963, Roger Staubach and Navy came into Michigan Stadium and blew the maize and blue out and Staubach established himself as the Heisman front runner, which he would go on to win.

I was alive but I was only 3 and don't remember it.

I used to hear old ****ers in Ann Arbor carrying on about seeing Staubach in that game.

After Staubach won the Heisman, he got to meet another navayman, former PT Captain and the president John F. Kennedy.

Shortly later Kennedy would have his brains blown out in Dallas.

Then right after that Staubach and #2 ranked Navy would lose the Cotton Bowl to #1 ranked Texas in Dallas.

Dang, man. That got dark fast. lol

That's what happened.

Jack Kennedy, like his pal Dick Nixon, who was elected to the US HOR around the same time as Kennedy, had played DB in college and remained a big fan.

Here Staubach remembers Kennedy.

And Roger Staubach would later become the HOF QB of none other than the Dallas Cowboys. Could this be the connection the conspiracy theorists have been looking for?

Observations:

1. Our defense is a freaking wrecking crew. Didn't even need our best defensive player.

2. Our skill position players are awesome.

3. The satin finish on the helmets is gorgeous.

4. Michigan football is beautiful.

5. Beer is good.

6. Our freshman class is an embarrassment of riches. I love Evans. So patient of a runner.

Never trusted Roger the Dodger. He was too "good", if ya know what I mean.

Maybe like, super soldier black ops experimental shit?

Like Jason Bourne kinda shit?

And the president got wind and the military industrial complex had him snuffed by Ted Cruz's father's commie army reject sharp shooter pal?

It could be.

Not sayin,' just sayin.'
