Observations:

1. Our defense is a freaking wrecking crew. Didn't even need our best defensive player.

2. Our skill position players are awesome.

3. The satin finish on the helmets is gorgeous.

4. Michigan football is beautiful.

5. Beer is good.

6. Our freshman class is an embarrassment of riches. I love Evans. So patient of a runner.

I'm very happy the program is back in a state where we blowout the teams we are expected to blowout. Under RichRod or Hoke we might have won this game 38-35 or something.

Having said that I don't want to get overly excited still. Hawaii looked quite awful and as people pointed out they had to be pretty gassed from all their traveling. Chris Evans made an impression but he also had HUGE holes to run through. Would be great to have a star emerge in the backfield though.

All of this is really just warmups until MSU. Even though Wisconsin beat LSU they didn't look that great to me. Stay on course.
