2019 Major League Playoffs and World Series

Not that it mattered, but Jim Wolf's umpiring last night was like his brother Randy's typical outing on the mound as a Tiger. Wolf is usually a lot better than that.
 
At one point this season both the Washington Nationals & Detroit Tigers were 19-31...

We all know how that worked out for both clubs.

Nationals (World Series champs) and Tigers (last place in MLB) were both 11 games under .500 on May 24, 58 days into the season. The only other time the eventual champ wasn't better than the eventual last place team this late was the other Washington title, the Senators in 1924.

So how many ex-tigers from the failed DD era now have World Series rings for other teams? At least 6 I?m counting

Just in the past 3 years, 10 Tigers (excluding minor and short-term players) have received their World Series rings:
Dave Dombrowski, Ian Kinsler, J.D. Martinez, Cameron Maybin, Rick Porcello, David Price, Fernando Rodney, Anibal Sanchez, Max Scherzer and Justin Verlander. Oh, and we can?t forget Donnie Kelly Baby?Make that 11.
