Tigers vs. padres April 12

Short story. I was watching the game in one room and my Dad was watching in another and when Don Kelly gets called on to pitch my Dad yells: "I ain't seen the floater pitch since Scuffy McGee!!"

One of my favorite moments ever.

Let the big dog eat!!

Double aside, that was an impressive inning from Krol. Got all 3 righties he faced.

Coke would have somehow given up like 6 runs.

Thanks for not bringing an Exxon tanker with you to the mound Ian.

Remind Coke, Joba the Fuck, Old man river, and everyone else in the pen to do the same.

Another solid performance from JV too. He may not be blowing people away like he used to, but he's still pitching very well. His April bugaboos hopefully are behind him. A couple of hits as well.

JV struck out 6 guys in the 5th, 6th and 7th...so that was really good to see. He looked stronger late in the game.

Christ Hunter. Do you have a cinder block tied to your leg??? His ankle must still be sore.

Nice hitting. 1-0 count so you know he doesn't want to fall behind...sits on the fastball and smoked it.
