The is column was interesting... Suggested leak of report of offer could be from harbaugh camp to push nfl. Which I could see

Complimented Hackett and Michigan. Didn't think they would leak offer
 
Other NFL teams can't talk to him until the season is over whether they want to or not. I still don't buy the trade talks. I don't know why you would agree to go to a shitty team who's giving up draft picks to get you there. That makes no sense at all.

I said the same thing to a friend last night... if this leak is from Harbaugh or his camp, that doesn't bode well for him coming to Ann Arbor. likely using it to leverage more money from the Raiders, Jets, etc.

I don't understand some of the commentary that one of these jobs is "more prestigious" than the Michigan job, or NFL jobs have some sort of prestige by themselves above a college job. Maybe among commentators who cover the NFL...

The people who are saying it's a leak from the Harbaugh camp are paid to tow the NFL line.

Schefter, who is normally pretty good, is even spouting off idiotic things about Michigan being cheap and that's why Harbaugh won't go there. Today he said Michigan doesn't give its players iPads, untrue, and doesn't pay its assistant coaches well, which is also untrue.

The fact that he even brings up iPads as a real issue shows how much the NFL guys are just being idiots.

I'm taking everything with a mountain of salt at this point.

The leak that got all the attention comes from a guy that claims to have a link to Harbaugh's agent. If we were to accept that as true, that would mean Harbaugh's agent wanted the deal leaked. To me, that sounds like fishing for a better deal.

I hope we've got a good plan B.

NFL guys and that guy MGoBlog says "feels credible". They're not saying Harbaugh's agent was the 1st leak, but one of the leaks.

...and, FYI, this guy with a connection to Harbaugh's agent, "ThoseWhoStay77" said Harbaugh hasn't met with his agent yet.

Someone else dug into this guy's tweets and found that he likes to tweet at recruits. He's one of those guys. He asks Brian to take the references down/stop drawing attention to this guy. He didn't actually break the story...looks like Brian messed up.

Nothing seems to be credible. Well, except for me.

We are getting Harbaugh and I base this on absolutely nothing.

He's a nerdy douchebag. I can't stand most of the ESPNsucks talking heads, but he and Mel Kiper are probably my two least favorite. Of course Skip Bayless is the king of all douchebags, but that's a different conversation.
 
I have lost some respect for "Shefty" over the years a little as he's clearly transformed into a complete toady for the NFL. The way he covered the Goodell stuff with Rice and others shows his bias.

He spent a long time in Denver as a Broncos beat writer for the Denver Post and parleed the relationship he had with John Elway and the back-to-back SB Broncos teams into what he's been at ESPNsucks, working with Mort.

Both are shills for the NFL. Don't care if Shefty went to UM and NU at this point. I don't think he's really a Michigan fan.

my son popped on the TV before school this morning (which he's not supposed to do but every once in a while to watch a cartoon) but put on '668' (ESPN) and told me that they were going to talk about Harbaugh to MICHIGAN next. Sneaky little scrub kept it on for a while. It's so funny too, because what ESPNsucks trotted out as "Breaking News" isn't remotely breaking or new(s) to anyone actually following the story.

I don't. I see them being retweeted. Ian Rappaport has been wrong about every single thing he's said during the Harbaugh sweepstakes. It's actually funny how stupid he is.

I very rarely watch ESPN. I haven't watched pregame shows in years and I rarely watch Sports Center. Usually I catch Schefter when I turn on the cable box Sunday morning after Michigan or UC played on ESPN the night before. He's such an annoying prick.

I've been listening to Mike and Mike in the morning on the way to work for the past month. They're much more tolerable than I remember even if I get annoyed with some things they say from time to time.
