I think MSU fans hit rock bottom

to be fair, they weren't very good that year, and we were... they overachieved for 3 1/2 Qs that day.

the more embarassing loss for them was '05. remember that? I think we started the season 2-2, en route to an injury-riddled 7-5 season. it was at state; they had beat ND, and put up 60+ on Illinois the week before. no one knew yet how retarded JLS was. all over the espn boards their fans were confident they would blow us out.

Wasn't 2005 the "little brother" comment from Hart?

No. Just making excuses.

Maybe you should cry about it a bit? Probably feel better about it after.

I'm not the one on here providing excuses for past losses.

so you're walking back the earlier comments? I'm neither whining, nor making excuses - just providing a different perspective on the game. It's your prerogative to disagree but you're the one who is being overly sensitive.

He put up 17 points in the first half w/ 80 yards rushing and a TD and 95 yds passing until he got body slammed by a frustrated defense. In the second half, dowdell couldn't do squat. The 4th qtr touchdown came off a 64 yard run Dowdell had nothing to do with. Edwards finally scored a couple TDs against the prevent defense.

I kept repeating ," JUST STICK ON EDWARDS, THE BALL IS GOING THERE". It just kept happening and no D on him?? At no point did I see the defensive focus shift towards him, infuriating.:argh:

I remember it a certain way because all I saw was the 4th Q and OT, like I said. I didn't watch the game and only knew State was up because I saw the score on the scoreboard at Folsom during CU vs UT

And cell phone internet was riiiiiight around the corner (as a standard feature). Thats when a phone was a phone it was made for calling.

No. You think I'm being sensitive. I am not sensitive whatsoever.

The fact that you can't figure out my comment about you crying is totally sarcastic is all on you.

You mean people used to actually use their text & surf camera to speak to other people on?

Victors mentioned he didnt know the score of a game. Now we can just go to ESPN.com etc and find the score of a game in the matter of a few seconds. in 2003 I believe there were a few phones that had internet but it wasnt a standard feature like it is today. Hope that clears it up.

phillips is just joking ....and sentimental about the days when men were men and phones were phones ..! Lol. If I call my wife half the time she doesn't answer but will immediately TEXT back, 'what's up?'

Just pick up!!!

Lol

I hate talking on the phone, I do the same thing and people are annoyed by it.

It's like back when you might 'record' a game and avoid hearing the score until you could watch ...nearly impossible now. Now it's just watching the game, knowing the outcome.

Fortunately for us that has come at a time where we knew it was inevitably going to be a loss anyways.

Just put your phone in airplane mode. Fuck people trying to get a hold of you.

I've gotten better about that and just putting it away at night ....mostly
