    Arizona Fall League Tigers

Yeah i guess Peoria is playing their home games at Surprise Stadium this year, so they will be sharing with Surprise. Closest one to me is probably the 91st Ave and Camelback stadium.

    Arizona Fall League Tigers

I moved out to PHX for work, and will be excited for AFL. I live within 15-35 minutes of all of the fall league stadiums, and my girlfriend's place is a 2 minute walk from the Surprise stadium. I'm looking forward to watching Travis and Knebel, I've heard great things about the both of them.

Valverde is DFA'ed and is now unconditionally released

Yeah, makes sense, I don't know if Al Al is the answer to the bullpen though. Tui was just put on DL, wonder what move is next... EDIT: looked like its Al Al and Garcia up.

Valverde is DFA'ed and is now unconditionally released

Al Al can't find the strike zone in AAA, 13 BB in 14.1 IP. 1.53WHIP. Should have brought up Rondon, he's dominating AAA, it's not really helping his development to keep him there.

Reason #1 not to pimp a Home Run.

http://mlb.mlb.com/fancave/blog.jsp?content=article&content_id=47617626&partnerId=th_twitter#fbid=CXmwa5eF0aQ Korean league player thinks he hits a home run pimps it to no end, and it ends up being a warning track fly out. Hilarious fail.

    Verlander Velocity Watch

Bump for JV's gem today. Probably the best start to a season JV has had in his career, yet there are still people complaining. Decreased velocity to start a season does not equal less effective pitching.

    Verlander Velocity Watch

Not to mention, this is one of the better Aprils that JV has had. Generally his Aprils are very human like, 3.65 ERA in April 2010-2012. Not concerned one bit, and to say he's not quite as dominant as recent years is pretty funny.

    Tigers sign Valverde!!!

Agreed, no risk in bringing him up and seeing if he has regained velocity and his splitter, like INDEPENDENT scouts have said. The bullpen was in shambles before and Benoit has stated numerous times that he doesn't like to close. This move puts Benoit back to the 8th inning, where he fits. If...

    Victor Martinez

From ESPN Tiger's page; "According to Inside Edge tracking, Victor Martinez has 12 well-hit balls this season that haven't gone for hits, the highest number in the league." At some point these will start falling for hits, it's ridiculous how unlucky hes been so far.

    Spring Training Concern

Raburn has a .368 BA and 1.305 OPS If BA (or spring training in general) mattered then Raburn would the best player on the planet.

Bush scheduling a meeting with Detroit

Agreed, he could be dynamic in this offense, and really open things up for Calvin.

Bush scheduling a meeting with Detroit

"Sources: Starting role offer gives Lions inside track on signing Reggie Bush" "The Lions have promised Bush a chance to be a full-time player, starting over Mikel Leshoure. Put Bush in a backfield with Calvin Johnson and Nate Burleson outside, Brandon Pettigrew at tight end and Matt Stafford...
