Game 12: Lions @ Saints Thread

Gotta keep pouring it on. No lead is safe today. Don't get too conservative with the lead.

The Saints have failed to convert third-and-1 on both of their drives so far today, leading to two punts.
The first was a fumbled shotgun snap to Drew Brees that led to an intentional grounding penalty and a 3-0 Lions lead.
The second was a more traditional run stuff against RB Tim Hightower.

Lions doing what they wanted to offensively so far -- two possessions and two over 5 minutes in duration.
Sustained drives were going to be and continue to be the key to victory for Detroit today. Need points off drives, obviously.

Time of Possession Lions 12:34 saints 4:23

JBC...Do NOT take your foot off the gas at all in this game unless we are up 45-0

Houston's coach is just stupid . Goes for it on 4th and 1 from the 50 yard line instead of punting it deep in a blizzard. Opps not even close .

This would be pretty big if the defense could somehow keep them off of the scoreboard on this drive too.

defense looks great....could use a little more pressure....but so far so good.

Ashawn Robinson finding his niche with batting passes down.

I feels like they are crowding the box.. so we try a play action deep throw maybe?

Damn it not Ebron :(
