Official Other Bowls Thread

Their second half possessions were: INT, PUNT, DOWNS, DOWNS, DOWNS.

I guess it was a bit of a mismatch to have them playing an 11 win team in a bowl.

Not to mention they have been practicing for about 4 days. I read a story saying that they had 2 players home in Sweden, Vedral was home in Nebraska and their punter was home in Australia.

All things considered they did pretty well against the No. 17 team in the country.

Alabama about to start. Not sure what i want more. Michigan to stomp the top 2 SEC teams to win a championship. Or Bama to lose to a non power 5 cinci.

Cmu wins lol. Good for them beating a pac 10 team. Should have won by 20 but had a 2nd half littered with mistakes to make it close.

Looks like Cincinnati can hang with them.... now it's just about making plays.

Well, if Cincy wins, we can beat an SEC team and another buckeye.

I think you need to spend a little bit of time around Cincinnati fans. Probably 2nd only to Michigan in their hatred for OSU. The best comparison I can make is that's like OSU saying that a win against MSU is as satisfying as a win against Michigan.

UC needs to get a score here. I can feel the dam is about to break. Bama insisting on staying balanced. As soon as they finally say f it and just run the ball this game will be over.

can see why they want to keep out non power 5 Teams. Bearcats don?t belong this half so far.
Maybe they can make some adjustments as if it wasn?t for Auburn chocking Bama would not be in the semifinals

Cincinnati absolutely has the ability to play with anyone in the country. They just play like shit when the lights are bright. They did the same thing against Indiana (remember that was still a top 25 matchup at the time). Ridder had a TD pass batted down, overthrew his receiver the next play then took a sack. Since then he's missing open guys and they've abandoned the running game when Ford is averaging 4.6 yards per carry.

Like I said it's who can make plays. Game feels closer. Cinci just simply can't execute. Ridders favorite target thus far is the Bama dline.

Their coach is a buckeye. That's what i mean

I think Bama could just run every play and win easily. Throwing, they aren't so hot.

Bama's defense looks a lot faster and stronger than Cincinnati's offense. Reminds me of when we played Bama in 2012 and just got knocked around the field.

3-3-5 defense with the Thorpe winner who is the 2nd best corner on his team. Run defense I sus, pass defense and rush are legit.

On the bright side if Michigan manages to win can you imagine the happy feet of Young when you replace Sanders with Hutchinson?

Way to make em pay after that turnover. Penalty, run for negative yards, throw it to the dline again. Lol.
