Great decision the guy is an absolute beast one of the best pick ups in franchise history IMO
 
So if I'm reading the details correctly, Harrison's contract works out like this:

2019 - 9 million
2020 - 9 million
2021 - 9 million (non guaranteed)

Bob Quinn looks like a damn mad genius. If he even slightly pulls of something similiar with Slay I'd be amazed.

This is what his deal looks like now, which has $12 million guaranteed including a $7.5 million signing bonus: 2019: Base salary of $1 million; roster bonus of $31,250 per game active (capped at $500,000). Cap hit of $4.25 million with cash value of $9.25 million. 2020: Base salary of $8.5 million -- $3.5 million of it guaranteed for injury only. Roster bonus of $31,250 per game active (capped at $500,000) and a workout bonus of $250,000. Cap hit of $11.75 million with a cash valuse of $9.25 million. 2021 (this is the completely new year in his deal): Base salary of $8.5 million with a roster bonus of $31,250 per game active (capped at $500,000). Cap hit of $11.5 million with a cash value of $9 million. No guaranteed money and a dead money cap hit of $2.5 million.

Lions are prepared to release Damon Harrison Sr (Snacks) source indicates they've already decided and will announce move soon.

Snacks made such a huge impression in Detroit, but he was only here for a year and a half, and the last year was, by his own admission, not good.

The move would free up $6.76M in cap space.

Retirement remains a possibility, will see how he feels and how market shapes up.

With A’Shawn also likely gone, and Mike Daniels a huge ?, the interior DL needs to be completely rebuilt.
