Sandy Hook families win ruling against Alex Jones

Which two guys?

And you think someone should watch less MSNBC/CNN here, but should tune into infowars for information on Infowars' own legal issues?

Would you call OJ Simpson to provide unbiased reporting on the OJ Simpson murder trial?

I would say that O.J. Simpson would be biased.

That said, some female reporter who had covered the Manson murders years ago came out of retirement and recently interviewed him. He didn?t say anything about the murders though. He says he doesn?t like talking about the worst day of his life.

You two guys really need less CNN/MSNBC..

Robert Barnes Makes MAJOR Announcements In Sandy Hook Media Hoax

Several MSM publications will be held accountable for libelous, defamatory, fake news headlines

I'm no CNN/MSNBC fanboy but you're constantly, almost daily, using a source that is LITERALLY Alex Jones' company. You couldn't be looking at a more biased source if you tried. Fox News is Reuters by comparison. You have zero ground to stand on.

Yeah, I?m not sure TM grasps the irony and absurdity of what you?re pointing out.

I don?t have TDS though either so idk...

Wtf is TDS? And why is it relevant at all to mud's clear hypocrisy when it comes to news sources?

I wasn't sure either; only thing I could think of with that acronym relevant to the issue being discussed (news sources and obvious bias & in the case of InfoWars reporting on Alex Jones' own legal troubles, an open conflict of interest) was The Daily Show.

But I did an internet search, and it's "Trump Derangement Syndrome"

apparently Trump Derangement Syndrome explains why you might have a problem with harassing the parents of children massacred in a school shooting, since there's otherwise nothing wrong with doing that, and this is all a frame up job to keep Alex Jones from telling the truth.

The Daily Show sucks now, BTW. I realized I haven't watched a single episode since Trevor Noah took over... his defense of Obama collecting $400,000 speaking fees from Goldman Sachs was awful.

In other Sandy Hook-lawsuit-related news, one of the parents just won an unrelated lawsuit against another harasser, (not Alex Jones) who published a book about; the publisher settled separately. the people who do this sort of thing - the ones who actually go out and harass families - are fucking unhinged. Their worldview is so warped, I honestly thing they probably need psychological treatment. Alex Jones and his ilk may or may not be unhinged as well, but they are laughing all the way to the bank. These lawsuits make that trip a little less enjoyable.

This AP article on that suit does a good job framing the issue correctly, so these assholes can't claim their "free speech" isn't being infringed, and people are afraid of the "truth" they're speaking about:
?If Mr. Fetzer wants to believe that Sandy Hook never happened and that we are all crisis actors, even that my son never existed, he has the right to be wrong. But he doesn?t have the right to broadcast those beliefs if they defame me or harass me,? Pozner said. ?He doesn?t have the right to use my baby?s image or our name as a marketing ploy to raise donations or sell his products. He doesn?t have the right to convince others to hunt my family.?

I don't watch cable news but on the rarest of occasions and prefer to read. That said, any "MSM" that isn't spreading false propaganda and lies to willing conspiracy theorists is legitimate enough for me. BBC, Bloomberg, NPR, ex-US news sources ....there are literally THOSANDS of "MSM" outlets that until being slandered as journalists, were simply reporting the news. Unlike Fox and very unlike Alex Jones and his basement studio in his mom's house.

I've heard it said that CNN says trump is the infowars president. (as if that's a bad thing), it's been said IW helped get trump elected and those with TDS, (CNN/MSNBC and others) have to demonize IW at every opportunity in effort to try and help ensure he doesn't win again so we can get back on the ChiCom model plan they all support.

You heard it said by whom? Yourself?

It reads to me like he claims that Trump behaves like a deranged lunatic the way Alex Jones does, which Trump does, more so than Alex Jones being influential in getting Trump elected, and that Trump uses fear mongering tactics like Alex Jones does, which Trump does, but we also know Trump?s adversaries also use fear mongering tactics, talking about the horrible things that are going to happen or continue to happen if a more socialist agenda isn?t adopted, and again I say more socialist, because again, we?re already pretty socialist.

FBI CLEARS INFOWARS IN CHILD PORN HOAX
No retractions after media promoted flagrant fake news

Infowars has been cleared of accusations of sending child porn by the FBI and the U.S. Justice Department in a letter which confirms that Infowars and Alex Jones were actually the victims in the case.

On Monday, the mass media falsely reported that Infowars had sent child porn to Sandy Hook lawyers, despite the fact that the malicious files were sent to Infowars by a third party and contained ?hostile threats?.

The press erroneously made this claim despite the fact that the emails were turned over to lawyers as part of routine discovery in the case.
?As we discussed last week, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (?FBI?) in New Haven has conducted a forensic examination of the hard drive provided by the Koskoff firm,? states the letter which was sent to attorney Norman Pattis. ?During that analysis, the FBI examiner discovered emails that contained possible images of child pornography. The file paths for these emails are set out in Attachment A hereto, along with the two email addresses that the emails originated from and a folder located on the drive that also contains this data.?

?I request that to the extent you have any of these files or emails on any device here in the District, you should take all necessary steps to delete that data. The Government represents that because any such deletion is coming at our request, your deletion of these files will not be considered destruction of evidence or obstruction of justice. The FBI will maintain physical custody of the hard drive in New Haven.?

Infowars gladly complied and immediately deleted the files from its servers. The FBI also sent Infowars tracking data for the emails which will help in finding the actual culprit.
The DOJ?s instruction for Infowars to delete the files confirms that the investigation is over and that Infowars has been vindicated as being the victim of being sent child porn in a possible attempt to frame Alex Jones.

The letter also confirms Pattis? statements about the matter were true, despite numerous media outlets claiming otherwise.

Despite Infowars being cleared of sending child porn, virtually no media outlets that initially reported the ludicrous claim have issued any retractions.

This illustrates once again how the press ran one of the clearest examples of fake news ever seen, framing Infowars as the culprit when they were in fact the victim.
However, the damage has been done. Most people will have simply read the headlines and never do any follow up research.

Will any media outlets perform basic journalistic due diligence and issue retractions, or will this monumental lie become just another thread in the fabric of fake news?

Lol, nobody in the fictional ?MSM? is ?bad mouthing? InfoWars ...because it used to be nothing and is again, nothing. The knuckle-dragging weirdos who listen to that shit and believe it are essentially powerless when it?s all said and done.

Alex Jones is a pathological liar and lunatic. He?s now discredited beyond any legitimacy and attacked parents whose young, innocent children were slaughtered by a deranged person with unacceptably easy access to military-style weaponry in an unimaginable way.

The FACT he sent CHILD PORN in response to the Sandy Hook slaughter is reprehensible beyond reproach.

Please read the STICKIED thread where TSmith gets ruined and donate money to the very worthy cause of helping those whose brother/sister/parent was murdered.

And put more tinfoil on your hat you fucking loser.

Update: Jones just lost an appeal in the Texas case. And because the court ruled his appeal was frivolous - just like his show - he has to pay the legal bills of the plaintiff as well. (link)

Jones racking up more losses than the Tigers! and each time, it costs him. He?s going to be filming ?Infowars? out of a cardboard box when all these wrap up.

If he does it from the streets of LA, it would be hard to tell him from any of the other 50,000 raging lunatics bellowing out incoherencies from the inside of a cardboard box.

He'll be okay as long as people like tigermud subscribe to his cardboard box podcast and buy his snake oil. And there is not shortage of crazy people like that.
